Entering a kitchen that is still warm from the fire made the day
before: it’s possible with a massive cooker made from stone or
brick! After all, the warmth created by the fire is stored in the
stone mass of the cooker and then slowly released in the room. Wood
cookers can be placed in the centre of the room or integrated in the
kitchen.
All of our cookers have a cast iron fireplace door, mostly combined
with an ash box door, grate and cast iron hearth-plate. |

1)
Massive brick-layered finnoven cooker
These standard cookers are made from fire-resistant bricks and
have an outer shell made from brickwork. On this outer shell we
can later apply a special layer of plaster. There are five
varieties of finnoven cookers: Henna, Hella, Pikku-Henna, Hemmo
and Heikki. |

3) Adobe-cooker
The adobe-cooker is made of fire-resistant bricks and adobe-bricks.
The outer shell is covered with a layer of adobe-plaster.
We build made to measure adobe-cookers. They are designed by the
customers themselves and attuned to the room in which they are
placed. Their outer shell consists of an adobe-layer that can later
be coloured with natural paint or a special layer of adobe-plaster.
This way a unique and personal source of warmth is created. |
